As part of the National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease, NINDS organizes summits to define priorities for research on Alzheimer's disease-related dementias, including frontotemporal, Lewy body, mixed, and vascular dementias.
The Action Plan for the Muscular Dystrophies outlines priorities for improving treatments and reducing disease burden for all forms of muscular dystrophy. This plan was developed by the Muscular Dystrophy Coordinating Committee, a Federal Advisory Committee.
